Though, this didn’t last long because of some economic hardships and the death of the founding families which drove the remaining people away.

There have been many different ghosts that are said to haunt this abandoned town due to the fact both of the founding families and their slaves were buried there. One is a baby that can often be seen sitting underneath a tree next to the Randall families home. A bearded face is said to hang around the cemetery. Many paranormal investigators say they can hear the sounds of farm animals, horse drawn buggies, and voices.
